Great Initiative By IIT Kharagpur
In making in consideration, IIT Kharagpur have taken a step forward.
Providing clean energy ( Electricity ) in the form of 'Solar Domes' in 10 States of our country.
IIT - Kharagpur have said that they are going to provide about 44,000 Solar Domes throught these 10 States.
The main motive of these project is to provide a clean energy at an affordable price.
The main aim of these is to provide these facilities to the Poor families.
Because in village mostly the people cannot afford the grid - Connection of electricity.
Usually that is been provided in cities and it is irregular and unaffordable.
As it is been said that the solar domes are a clean form of energy.
It will be best suitable for slums and rural areas.
This initiative of the project is been made by IIT Kharagpur in Collaboration with ' NBIRT '.
Because 'NB instituite of rural technology' will provide .
The necessary suggetion and help for the best performance and output of the project.
The benifits of these project will be mostly given to the households of SC and ST communities in rural areas.
The states which will avail the benifits of these project 'Solar Domes'are
West Bengal, Chhathisgarh, Manipur, Bihar, Odhisha, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan and Assam.
Department of Science and Technology of central Government institute has taken a
initiative in funding for a good cause to push the work of these project to be done as early as possible.
